I don't listen to podcasts but here is one recorded yesterday interviewing Gary Kubiak for 1510 The Score with Armstrong and Shapiro out of Denver (?). Enjoy.

Interesting info on Slaton. Kubs said Slaton had neck surgery a few weeks ago.

Nice find HPF. I don't know when I've heard Kubiak sound so comfortable and
composed, must be his more relaxed mood of the offseason and the knowledge that he's on the payroll for atleast another year ? |

Nice find, Bob. Maybe Kubiak is less guarded in his comments with out of town guys. I wonder when we would have known about Slayton's surgery, otherwise.
Very interesting that Kubiak said we need to get better up front on offense. I really wasn't sure before if they were really commited to that. Maybe we get an OL in the first or second round? Last edited by idymoe; 01-30-2010 at 07:04 PM. |

Yeah, could be offense this time around. We have really upgraded the D in the previous draft and FA. We still need that big aggressive DT on Defense IMHO.

Kubiak: "We have to get more balanced on offense..."
No, you certainly do not, you pathetic moron. You can obviously throw the ball to move the ball. What you have to do is score six when you're in the red zone. The good news is that you get to the red zone in a hurry. The bad news is that you have no mother%$^&ing idea what to do once you get there. I guess the further bad new is that you don't seem to understand any of the above. Throw the ball to get downfield. In the red zone spread the field and run the ball. I'd love $700,000 a year for that, thank you. I'm not really sure why I bother. After the post-2010 lockout I will be done with the NFL forever. |
