Time to give the Bear the thrashing they so richly deserve.

(This expression may sound trite but it worked during the 4 game win streak. I didn't say this last week against Oakland and we lost so I gotta pull out all stops .....)

Bears kick off. AD brings it out to the 28.

-----------

Texans moving the ball... currently at the Bears 47...

3rd and 8 coming up.

-----------

Schaub passes to Slaton for 2 yards so 4th down and the Texans have to punt. Punt goes into the endzone so it wil be the Bears ball at their own 20.

Bears moving the ball down the field....

--------

Bulman roughs the passer so a 15 yarder puts the ball at the Texans 18.

---------

Ball at the 4.... Orton throws a jump ball in the corner of the endzone, caught for 6 pts.

Bears 7, Texans 0

Dunta looked a bit lost covering Lloyd on that TD. The Bears moved pretty easily on this D... is Richard Smith coaching for his job?

---------

Oy, Slaton fumbles and the Bears recover. Bears ball at the Texan 38.

Bears have a 4th down situation and opt to kick the FG. FG is good.

Bears 10, Texans 0

So you know you gotta come back and do this again in Week 1 2009...

I have more than a few friends that are Bears fans, so today was nice, especially since they could've gone to the postseason with the 'wagon and Bucs losing.
