Default Official Texans vs. Colts Game Thread, 11/5/2017

The halfway point of the season finds the 3-4 Texans hosting the 2-6 Indianapolis Colts this Sunday in an early game. It is starting to look like QB Andrew Luck won't make it back this year and that QB Jacoby Brissett will continue in his stead. Despite their record, the Colts have been feisty at times this year so it would serve the Texans well not to take them lightly. However, the Texans lead the league in pts./game scored (30.7) and the Colts lead the league in pts./game given up (30.8). Colts lead the all-time series 23-7.

Video - What they are saying in Vegas about the Texan's "situation"..... jump to the 4:18 mark to get to the Texan stuff, ends around the 7 minute mark.

Summary: Teddy Covers and Pauly say some nice things about Watson, some not so nice things about Savage.

I'm actually kinda looking forward to seeing how Savage does this Sunday. He's being pitted against a team most any average QB should be able to excel against....

No Watson, No Watt, No Mercilus, No Cushing, No first or second-round picks, No reason to give a shit about the rest of the season, frankly. If Brissett has shown he can beat anyone, it is us. Last time the Astros went to the World Series, the Texans stunk up the joint and got Mario "My Aching" Williams.

Rinse, repeat. If we finish 3-13, eh, nothing we haven't done before.

The early CBS game the national audience will see is an interesting matchup for a couples reasons. Here we of course will be seeing the Colts & the Texans,
but nationally it will be Denver going up against the surging Philadelphia Eagles and for those who haven't been following what's been going on Denver, well the Broncos have this guy named Osweiler starting for them at QB Sunday in Philly.
