Default Foster Released

I'm a little sad to see one our top players for Texans depart.

Thanks Arian and best to you and family in the future.

He is either the 2nd or 3rd best player in team history. Our first national star, and represented the team well on most levels. He has had a few hiccups, but he will be missed.

Wish the man well.

The old second contract curse. Cool guy. Great story. But this you could see coming a long way off. This doubles, at least, our available cap room.

We have $40MM plus available cap. It will be interesting to see who they resign and which FAs they sign.

Saw this re-tweet on the Twit. From Foster's Instagram account:

2009 I flew to Houston with every piece of clothing I owned and told my mother I wasn't coming home. I'll find my way. ambitious for an undrafted rookie that knew nothing about anything. but that's exactly what I did. this ride has had a multitude of ups and downs, but perspective is key. I've got 7 years of beautiful memories with teammates, staff and coaches I'll never forget. thank you all for being a part of this journey. people that I call friends and brothers have all contributed to the success of what we did on the field, and also to the person that I am off. with everything in me, I love and respect the men and women you are. you are a part of me for good. and to the city of houston, I genuinely appreciate every ounce of love I've ever gotten. from seeing a small kid to an 80 year old man wear my jersey. I never took it for granted. we're all just guessing our way through life, being the best people we can, and the people of this city have put a lot of joy in the hearts of my self and my family. onward we march, it's been real. nothing but love on this end.

That is a nice tweet message from Arian. I think for most part he has gotten along great with his team-mates, coaches, and fans, and national media, only a few local media have had their feathers ruffled.

I've enjoyed Arians unique personality and humor.

His play in 2011 and 2012 was fantastic, seemed like if Arian ran over 25 times in a game we won. And he had some great performances in playoff games.

Then he went to 4 pro-bowls and was once selected All-pro.

I'm glad I got a Foster t-shirt as well. Atleast he did get that second pretty good contract which he definitely deserved.

Cutting Arian added about 6.5 of the 40 mil in cap space Texans now have.

Today Texans also cut TE Garrett Graham and FS Rahim Moore, these three added about 10 mil to 29 mil Texans already had in cap space. Wish them all well.

Which teams is he allowed to sign with and keep you as a fan Bob?

Arian is a black man with opinions of his own. Fandom inconceivable. Acquiescence just possible if reunited with favorite team and Kubiak, and, as we are reminded, Super Bowl 50 Champions. Serendipitously the Roman numeral for 50 is L.

I was trying to figure how I got dragged into this and then I remembered the AJ-to-the-Colts discussion.

I'm consistent. If Arian signs a deal with the Colts, I'd wish for him the same I wished for A.J.

Are all the cards in your deck race cards?
