Default Official Texans @ Titans Game Thread, 12/27/2015

The 7-7 Texans travel to Nashville this Sunday to take on the 3-11 Tennessee Titans in an early game. The Titans last win was 3 weeks ago beating the Jaguars at home, 42-39. Since then, they've had two road losses - one to the Jets 30-8 and one to the Patriots 33-16. Mariota is out, Mettenberger is in at QB for the Titans.

The Texans are coming off a 16-10 road win at Indianapolis and will be looking to put a stranglehold on making the playoffs. Brandon Weeden will probably start at QB for the Texans.

Let me get this right: Mallett is croqueted. Savage is IR'd. Yates is IR'd. Hoyer is concussed and we are now down to the guy the Cowboys cut earlier this season and his backup, BJ and the Bear? ay-yi-yi-yi.

The surprise of the Wildcat is now in every DC's film library. Weedeater needs to play way above his ability. That's all I can say.

We could be the ugliest playoff team of all time. Forget the W-L record, this is the Rosie O'Donnell of playoff teams. Speaking of which, how's Rosie's throwing arm? She was in a baseball flick once. Yeah.

5 points. Texans favored by 5 is the new line. That's more like it though I would have put it at 3 with the new QB (Weeden).......

Thinking that's indicative of how bad the Titans are.

Hoyer is out. I think if the Texans clinch today that he will be kept out of next week's game too so he'll be as clear-headed as possible for the playoffs.

That sounds weird just saying that.

Agree. If that's the case, wouldn't mind seeing them give that new kid some snaps. I mean....why not?

Don't think today's game will be an issue for the D. Whether or not the O can get to 17 will likely be the key. I.E....rinse and repeat.
