Default Official Texans @ Colts Game Thread, 12/20/2015

Andrew Luck taking snaps with other #Colts QBs. No sign of Matt Hasselbeck.

Interesting. Wonder if he'll actually suit up? If he does play, you'd got to think they would engineer a game plan to protect him. The dude had a lacerated kidney. I'm no doctor, but I'm thinking that's not good.

#Colts News: HC Chuck Pagano just told reporters QB Andrew Luck is OUT in Week 15 and he expects QB Matt Hasselbeck to start vs. Houston.

The 6-7 Texans travel up to Indianapolis this Sunday to face the 6-7 Colts in an early Sunday game. The Texans (all together, now) have never won in Indianapolis. The Texans and Colts are both coming off 2 straight losses and something has to give with the winner in the driver's seat for champion of the AFC South. As of this writing, Matt Hasselbeck and TJ Yates look to be the starting QB's.

TV = CBS (channel 11 local), noon, Sunday, Dec 20

Announcers = Greg Gumbel, Trent Green

The line = pending (QB's)

----------------------------------------------------------------

Other Sunday viewing in the Houston area:

CBS (late) = Denver @ Pittsburgh -- Jim Nantz, Phil Simms

FOX (late) = Green Bay @ Oakland -- Chris Myers, Ronde Barber

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Prime Time:

TNF = Tampa Bay @ St. Louis (NFLN)

Saturday night = NY Jets @ Dallas (NFLN)

SNF = Arizona @ Philadelphia (NBC)

MNF = Deroit @ New Orleans (ESPN)

Starting to see some spreads for this game come in.... one place has the Colts favored by 1 so it will probably be in that area although, there's a lot of people favoring the Texans straight up so it would not surprise to see a shift to the Texans being the slight favorite...

I sure don't have a clue, or even an inkling who's going to win tomorrow in Indy ? It would be great to finally win up there and add some cheer to the Christmas week.
But even if we win tomorrow we probably will still need to beat the Jags in the last game of the regular season to win the division, and they seem to be the team in the AFC South that's playing the best right now.

Despite the late surge, I don't think the Hags are much of a factor. They lose out on too many tiebreakers since a lot of thier losses were AFC. Based on the scenario generator Bob found, if we all end up tied, the Hags would be 3rd. We win today, we have a small cushion assuming we beat TN.
