During these doldrums CBS Prisco put out something to perhaps talk about - he covered all thirty two teams
probably not really worth much but .... http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/writer/...s-team-by-team ""Houston Texans Overrated: RB Arian Foster , Yeah, he's done some good things, but he's starting to break down. And how much better is he than a young player who would get the same number of carries? Underrated: G Brandon Brooks , On a down year for their line, he had a solid season at right guard to claim that spot as his own."" My initial thoughts - Foster - I thought perhaps Foster injuries were due to OL and his own conditioning, and injuries happen to all RB, but this year he seems ready to go, so we shall see, I'm expecting a big comeback. And I think Adrian is a top 5 RB in the league, assuming he stays healthy this year. Brooks was part of a weak OL, I thought Brroks did ok and improved some, but not underrated. He really had no competition. Need to see how OL improves as a unit this year. Last edited by Nconroe; 06-30-2014 at 04:24 PM. |

I don't see anyone overrating Foster. He's been hurt for over a year and nobody is really talking about him at all. Maybe a year ago he was overrated, now he is overpaid and properly rated.
Hopefully it is a bounce back year because I really like the guy. |

ok, small related topic change, how about Ryan Fitzpatrick?
http://www.houstontexans.com/news/ar...4-f28274860bec So his QBR ranked 15th last year but evaluators said 30th. Hard for me to say right now, I didn't really see him much before. He's had a few good years, mostly not so good. I guess with good OL, good run game, good receivers, good field position, will do ok. right now hope he and team surprises us all. rookies and QB report to training camp in less than two weeks, July 21. Then rest come in July 25. Hope to hear about open training camp dates next week. |
