Default Steelers Waive Alameda Ta'amu

Okay, so he has a DWI and didn't handle it very well. 3-4 nose tackles don't grow on trees (although some times they eat them). We're looking for some depth here and anyone the Steelers wanted for their nose has to be worth a sniff, right?

I can't see McNair being okay with picking up a guy with charges pending of felony aggravated assault by vehicle and fleeing and eluding police and misdemeanor resisting arrest, escape, and DUI. That would be a major departure from their usual character standards.

Plus the Bengals are above them in the waiver order, so no chance!

Kubiak said Cody will be back at practice on Thursday, so I don't see an interest coming.

All I know is that the Steelers get more calls than Kobe Bryant.
