At this point.....whatever. Depends on who they cut for the roster spot. Don't forget, Cush will be back week 5, so someone is already gonna be on the chopping block.
There is no way this dude is in shape, much less "football" shape. I would have been stoked if they would have signed him a month ago, but 3 weeks into the season, you are looking at week 7 or 8 for him to be in game shape. Ain't my money, and if he can contribute the 2nd half of the season for a post season run, more power to them/him. |

On the plus side, it takes less time to get into "football shape" to become a situational pass rusher than it does to get into "every down shape."

I saw this in LZ's blog: Question Any more news out of Columbus ? Response from LZ: As for Schobel, there are more and more rumors that the big man is working out and getting in shape and more and more people in Columbus, Tx. think he's getting ready to come back. |

More from McClain
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/...t/7221924.html He must not have been in shape at all for them not to sign him. As bad as our pass rush is, I would think they would have reached and possibly overpaid to get some heat on the QB. If he needs a few more weeks, then he must really have let himself go. Dissapointing.

not sure how he would have gotten that much further out of shape in 4 weeks. seems like the texans have been gun shy on this one all along. very disappointing.
