DE Earl Cochran Placed on Injured Reserve

Defensive end Earl Cochran was placed on injured reserve Wednesday because of a toe injury. Cochran, who had two sacks coming off the bench at end and tackle, suffered a torn ligament in his right big toe against Indianapolis.

The injury prevents him from pushing off. The Texans are hoping Cochran’s injury doesn’t require surgery. ...

Cochran was playing pretty well. Of course the only consistantly good defensive player is Mario Williams.
