Default Official Texans @ Jaguars Game Thread, 11/27/2011

And so begins the Matt Leinart era... at least the 2011 era.

edit... Steve Mariucci on the NFL Net's "Bold Predictions" segment said that Leinart is getting over 300 yards passing today.

Just manage the game and get the win. I'm not looking for Leinart to be a stat machine. I just want him to complete some throws early then let Foster and Tate do their thing.

J.J. Watt plays like a 10-yr vet. How awesome was that draft pick?

Kubes is letting Leinart play. I like it. I don't want to get too far away from pounding the ball and I would expect to see Tate next series, but I like the approach.

Totally agree. Not the start we needed, but we should hold our own against their O. Good time to tinker a bit.

Leinart needs to pass to a WR. The Jaguars aren't giving him much respect downfield, and they're really clogging the middle.

Kubes, where is the bootleg?
