Default Jaguars latest to accuse Texans of playing dirty

so says CBS:

Quote:
"I still don't like them, and I have no respect for them at all," he said, via the Houston Chronicle. "It was just the dirty stuff they were doing. I don't want to get into specifics; I just don't like them. … I'm not going to get into names or anything like that, but we play them again.”

This is the second time in two weeks that a Houston opponent has accused the Texans of dirty tactics. After the Titans lost 41-7 last week, they echoed some of the same remarks.

“They're some nasty guys," Jaguars defensive end Jeremy Mincey said. "I was on the ground, and some guy stepped on my head. They're very dirty."
It reminds me of when Jerry Glanville was the head coach of the Oilers and opponents complained that the Oilers were playing dirty, especially the Steelers.

Glanville responded by saying "They're actually mad because we are finally hitting back instead of just taking it."

FWIW, I've never seen a Kubiak team play dirty, even when I've wanted them to. DL's always complain about cut blocking and as long as we are successful in a zone blocking scheme, we will get the "dirty" label.

It's about time

Happy to see it, but coming from two guys who's teams just lost, I not making much of it. No flags, no fines doesn't sound like a dirty team to me, especially in a fine happy NFL. I remember seeing quotes from the BAL game, and they were raving about the Texans.

Whatever. Just. Win.

The Titties and the Hags, the two dirtiest teams in the whole NFL, claiming we play dirty. I guess we finally have arrived.

Nothing new here -- seven years ago the Jags were whining that the Texans were dirty.
