Default Texans 2010 Opponents

By finishing second in the AFC (Congrats, Texans), Houston will have the following opponents for 2010:

Indianapolis x2
Jacksonville x2
Tennessee x2
Cincinnati
Baltimore
Pittsburgh
Cleveland
Denver
NY Jets
Dallas
NY Giants
Philadelphia
Washington

Not a lot of gimmes here. The team could improve next year and still finish with a worse record.

Just looking at that, looks like the hardest schedule in the league.

Never know who is going to be good or bad from year to year.

At least we get some of tougher teams at home, which should make it somewhat easier. That is, as long as the Texans can play better at home next year.

Slightly less brutal, but I see 9-7 again.

Looks like a "challenging" schedule. I like it. Bet the Texans get at least two prime time games in 2010.....

Less brutal than what. This year was a cakewalk compared to next year. If we make the playoffs next year Kubiak will have earned an extension.

This isn't right. The Texans get the AFC West next year, plus games against the 2nd place finisher of the AFC North at home and the AFC East on the road.

Okay, I see what I got wrong. I was going by the 2002 opponents but the intraconference rotation is only three years, not four as it is for interconference.
My bad.

But, hey! If we get the Cowboys in our house, that ought to be a W for us. Let's go find Billy Miller! haha
