Default Official Texans vs. Colts Game Thread, 11/29/2009

Steel Blue Sunday on tap.

Question: If the Texans are down by three with the ball spotted at the Colts' 31-yard line, four seconds left in the game, if you're Gary Kubiak, what do you do? What do you do?!?!

Send Kris Brown out there and kick the ball the FG. duh. What else can he do?

At this point in time Brown is better than any of the guys on the street. IN 8 years this is only his 2nd rough patch. He is one of the most accurate kicker in the league at 50 yd plus, and he is still putting the kickoffs deep. I would have to look more at what has changed this year from the prior years?

The LS has changed, and he is not there only for the LS. So I wonder if Turk and Brown and Dressen are getting the same amount of reps that the FG team got last year.

Set your DVR's.

I think it comes down to this: this is the type of game the Texans have to start winning. Win and they are back on track. Lose and they just ain't got it for this year....

I don't know, but I've had enough of watching last second kicks. I'll change the channel.

A win here and they set themselves up for a nice run (dare I say a chance to run the table?!?). Here's hoping they take that first step today against the Colts.

Go Texans!

Pass over the middle to AJ good all the way to the Colts 43.

Dump to Slaton good for 7.

C Brown runs hard for about 9. 1st down.

Pass to Dreesen good for about 15. Ball at the Colts 15.

Slow white boy reverse/end around/misdirection gets only 3.

AJ catches the quick hitter and bulls his way to about the 2 yard line.

Perfect playcall, perfect drive, perfect ending.

Never seen a drive like that, or haven't in a long ass time.

That drive represents the potential that this team has. The problem is consistency. Perfect execution. Lets keep it up.

Why's it so damn hard to play like this even 25% more of the time?

Colts bring the kickoff back to the 18.

Pass to Garcon good for about 13 and a 1st down.

Addai for about 4.

Pass to Wayne gets just enough for the 1st down.

Pass to Clark gets another 10. Ball at the Texans 47.

Holding on Colts -10. Makes it 1st and 20.

End of 1st quarter.

Ball at the Colts 43.

Cushing INT"s! Takes it all the way to the 15!

Penalty on A Smith on the return so it is still the Texans ball at the Colt 40.
