Texans FO talk about the draft.

I found a couple interesting reads tonight with members of the front office talking about the draft on a pick-by-pick basis. The first is from the Texans official site and has director of college scouting Dale Strahm giving his self-analysis. The second is from CBSSports and, thankfully, Clark Judge turns the entire column over to Rick Smith for his pick-by-pick thoughts.

Obviously no front office man is going to trash their draft the week after so there is a lot of puff here, but I feel I have a little better handle on the guys we've got coming in. The emphasis on leadership in the Strahm column reminded me of some of the articles I've been reading about the Ravens draft process and their "red star" guys.
