David Gibbs, who coached Kansas City’s defensive backs the past three seasons and is the son of Texans assistant head coach/offense Alex Gibbs, interviewed with coach Gary Kubiak on Monday.

When this was brought up before, I wondered if the Chiefs would allow Gibbs to interview for a lateral move. I guess with some of the flux in K.C., plus with the knowledge that Gibbs the Younger might have the opportunity to work with Gibbs the Elder, must have been enough.
