Default Over/Under on team wins 2008 - final results

Before the season began, Lance Zierlein wrote a blog about his pre-season predictions for the over/under for team wins NFL/2008 which I copied and stored. The results are in and LZ went 12-20 on his predictions which shows how tough picking the winners can be:

Arizona Cardinals: 7.5
Prediction - UNDER L

Atlanta Falcons: 4.5
Prediction - UNDER L

Baltimore Ravens: 6
Prediction - OVER W

Buffalo Bills: 8
Prediction - OVER L

Carolina Panthers: 7.5

Chicago Bears: 8
Prediction - PUSH L

Cincinnati Bengals: 7.5

Cleveland Browns: 8

Denver Broncos: 7.5

Detroit Lions: 6.5
Prediction - UNDER W

Green Bay Packers: 8
Prediction - OVER L

Houston Texans: 7.5
Prediction - OVER W

Indianapolis Colts: 11
Prediction - UNDER L

Jacksonville Jaguars: 10
Prediction - OVER L

Kansas City Chiefs: 6
Prediction - UNDER W

Miami Dolphins: 5.5
Prediction - UNDER L

Minnesota Vikings: 8.5
Prediction - OVER W

New England: 12.5
Prediction - OVER L

New Orleans: 8.5
Prediction - OVER L

New York Giants: 9
Prediction - PUSH L

New York Jets: 7
Prediction - OVER W

Oakland Raiders: 6.5
Prediction - UNDER W

Philadelphia Eagles: 8.5
Prediction - OVER W

Pittsburgh Steelers: 9
Prediction - UNDER L

San Diego Chargers: 10.5
Prediction - OVER L

San Francisco 49'ers: 6.5
Prediction - UNDER L

Seattle Seahawks: 8.5
Prediction - OVER L

St. Louis Rams: 6.5
Prediction - UNDER W

Tampa Bay Bucs: 8
Prediction - PUSH L

Tennessee Titans: 8
Prediction - UNDER L

Washington Redskins: 7.5
Prediction - UNDER L

LZ may or may not revisit this in an upcoming blog but I thought it was interesting....

Note the Texans went over their spread for the second year in a row which, I suppose, means improvement from a Vegas perspective....
