Anecdotally, there have been stories in the past of athletes that became vegetarians and then suffered endurance problems. I suppose some of the missing protein can be made up in other ways.

If it's for supposed health, then okay, whatever, as long as it doesn't mess anything up.

If it's for any of the other reasons why people do that crap (which is a good possibility considering the way he is), well that's just freakin' annoying and ridiculously stupid.
