Default Texans sign 2 new vets

according to chron.com

The Texans have reached contract agreements with former Dallas cornerback Alan Ball and former Seattle running back Justin Forsett.
Veteran depth and more competition. I do not think this means anyone is not producing or in danger. The Texans have said all along that they would be adding veteran depth before training camp.

I had hoped that Ward would resign, and he still may, but a serviceable backup type back is now signed.

IMO they are going to have a very competitive camp, and in turn some very hard cuts come September.

I'm guessing Ward wants more money and more playing time than we would want to give a third-string back. And he's probably right. He's been solid for us if a bit injury-prone.

Ward has tweeted goodbye to the fans of Houston, he said thanks for the support.

So looks like he is gone.
