There are some trade offs that are going to be considered. We aren't going to be able to have our cake and eat it too. If Brown is gone, as I suspect, I feel our next best combination of pass rush/run stuffing is Orakpo. He's not great at either, but sufficient at both. Maybin gives you a lot more pass rush, but you really pay for it against the run. Of course, he wouldn't be that big of a liability against the run as an OLB. However, as a DE, he would be. Lastly, Ayers may not be the pass rusher that Orakpo is, but he's better vs. the run.
All true Roy and that is why it lean towards Maybin as he is supposed to be the best PURE pass rusher. I could see him as an OLB on downs 1&2 and then a DE on 3. I don't think he has played OLB, so that may be a real barrier to that plan. If he is a total liability in run and isn't suitable as a OLB, then we can't draft him because then he would be just a 1 down specialist and you don't take that type at 15. Orakpo is fairly likely to be there at 15 and would probably be the safest pick for us and with the added benefit of perhaps stopping the horns fans from sniveling that we never pick their guys.
