And yet when Dom, a defensive guy struggled, they fired the OC like it would magically fix things. The problem is that the HEAD coach is in charge of both sides of the ball. If he ignores one and is not responsible for what happens on that side of the ball, he deserves to be fired for ignoring half of his team.
Guys like Tony Dungy and Bill Bellachik are defensive coaches and yet they win games with Offense when they have to. They coach their entire teams. If kubiak truly ignores the defense and is not in control of what goes on, then he is not much of a coach.
