I agree, I think the last 3 games have been hard lessons the team needed to learn and they seemed to have learned them.
The team has learned that they need to be smart in context of the game situation. Sometimes it is better to go down with the ball, then to try to make a big play that backfires. Sunday with around 3 minutes left, Schaub took a dive because the rush was getting close. A 1st down cements the game, but not fumbling the ball and punting it deep was the better play. Lesson learned from the Colts game.
Also this week the offense kept the pressure on, the starters never left the game and they kept on scoring, they learned never let a team off the hook, one or two big plays and they are back into the game, keep scoring and make them submit. Another lesson learned.
This upcoming week will be the biggest game of the year. Can they play 60 minutes of football against a solid team on the road? If they do, the sky is the limit, if they do not then....
