Pessimists will note "it was the Lions" and that three of the Texans' four wins are now against the Lions and Jaguars, but apart from another typical slow start, they were actually a competent team.

Deshaun Watson has probably had several better games statistically, but I don't recall a time when he was more poised leading the offense than today. Particularly impressive because Watson has the worst rushing offense in the league to support him and an iffy pair of guards protecting him.

Defensively, there are still major weaknesses at all three levels. I'm at a bit of a loss as to why the Lions didn't feature more of Adrian Peterson prior to the game getting out of hand. The Texans are soft up the middle, and a big back like that can wear them down.

Now 3-1 after returning from the bye weekend, and easily could have been 4-0, the schedule turns back to the Colts and a chance to gauge how much of a mirage the past month has been.
