Worse, I'm a contractor so I can get fired like a private sector employee. The union thugs where I work make twice the income and do half the work because they know management doesn't want any grievances filed and will never fire them. I know one who doesn't even show up for work anymore so he can run his own private business. Just dials up online every now and again to justify his 90k salary. Another starts and ends her work day whenever she feels like it.
When a union thug screws up, management looks for the closest contractor to blame. I liken it to a master with an indoor dog and an outdoor dog. When the master finds poop on the sofa, he goes out and whips the outdoor dog and then tells the indoor dog "good boy".
