4. (99) I'll presume we have taken an OLB, WR, and OT at this point. Now, we're at BPA territory but still with an eye for needs. Josh Chapman, DT, Alabama is a nice pick if still here. He's hard to project coming off ACL surgery.
Chase Minnifield, CB, Virginia is another nice option here as is Evan Rodriguez, TE, Temple as a TE/FB option. Ben Jones, C-G, Georgia, could be good depth and the Texans might take a flyer on Ryan Broyles, WR, Oklahoma, if he falls this far.
4. (121) Now is where I'd look for an off-the-radar guy I'd really like to grab before the late rounds get started. Here's some names to consider: Lennon Creer, RB, Louisiana Tech, Emil Igwenago, TE-FB, Massachusetts, Brett Roy, DE, Nevada, Tydreke Powell, DT, North Carolina, Chris Gallipo, ILB, USC, Josh Norman, CB, Coastal Carolina, Josh Robinson, CB, Central Florida, Duke Ihenacho, S, San Jose St.
5. (161) My preference is to trade this pick to the Lions for seventh-rounders #219 and #230. This fits well with the "trade down chart" and there are other teams with two non-compensation sevenths (Packers, Jets) who might also be trading partners. If the pick can't be traded, look at the list above to see who might be available.
6. (195) Start with the list at 121 and then add Tank Carder, ILB, TCU and Jaymes Brooks, C-G, Virginia Tech.
7. (219) Case Keenum, QB, Houston. He falls this far because he's short and a system quarterback but he ought to be given a shot because he's productive, mobile, can throw the deep ball, makes good reads and already has a local fan base in his corner. A good #3 behind Schaub and Yates.
7. (230) Cody Johnson, FB, Texas. He can be a load as a lead blocker and goal-line option. Good, but not great hands as an outlet receiver who can break tackles when he gets his momentum going.
7. (233) Randy Bullock, PK, Texas A&M. Dependable place kicker with above average, not exceptional range. Particularly if Rackers isn't retained, he has a shot to be a long term answer at the position. Honestly, all three of these can be taken at any of the seventh-round positions based on which one the war room thinks is most likely to be taken.
