Don't be too sure. Tebow, as a starter, was 9-7 during his Denver career, including playoffs. When Tebow didn't start the last two seasons, Denver was 4-13. They were awful in many ways beyond quarterbacking and yet Tebow got them to the playoffs and beat the Steelers.
Not to mention, Jacksonville is his home turf where he is most likely to find his comfort zone with fewer of the distractions of most major cities.
The old ownership wasn't too hot about Tebow but the new owner - Khan - is (I'm sure he sees Tebow as a cash cow like none other but so what? As an owner, what's so bad about making money?). However, the front office is more sold on Gabbert. But, as the Bud Adams saga shows, sometimes what the owner wants becomes the priority.
