It would be silly for the Pats to do that deal. For one, I'd be shocked if Belichick would want the Tebow circus to come to town at all, and second, they could get far more in return for Mallett than a questionable QB/TE/RB (whatever the hell they'd use him for). I'd be willing to bet there are a few teams out there willing to give up a #2 for Mallett. I suspect CLE and MIA would in a heartbeat. Maybe if Denver threw in pick as well...
