Ponder's a lot better than I thought he was. He's far better than Leinart is. His balls arrive on time. Leinart's are almost always late. And Ponder can throw on the run while Leinart can't.
I've always found it curious that Kubiak is so fascinated with Leinart when he's really not a fit for the offense. Bob always talks about the spin on the ball from a lefty which I think is a non-issue. But what is an issue are the blocking schemes on the roll-outs. Not only is Leinart poor in the bootleg offense Kubiak loves so much but you're making your OL really extend itself.
