I buy into not keep Dunta as an excuse unless Kubiak wanted him gone.
And the team's record with DeMeco: 4-2. Without DeMeco: 1-6 (with that one win against a Rusty QB). Coincidence? Maybe. It sure didn't help losing him. Not saying this to defend Kubiak, or especially Smith, but just sayin'.
