Former Texans offensive tackle Charles Spencer, who has been out of football because of a badly broken leg he suffered as a rookie in 2006, is getting a tryout with the team Sunday.
Spencer said general manager Rick Smith called and talked to him about a tryout.
"It's a blessing," said Spencer, who continues to make his home in Houston. "I was looking for another opportunity, and the first team to call is the one that I have unfinished business with. I can't thank Rick enough."
