My instincts tell me that Wilson may be the more talented cover corner, but McCourty will be the better teammate. I have absolutely no proof that Wilson is a selfish jerk or that he'll turn into Dunta Robinson, but that is just the 'vibe' I get from him. I guess McCourty just comes across as a Pro while Wilson makes me think that he's got something to prove, if that makes sense. Is this a shared opinion? Is this even fair?

The first idea I really agree with. I think that whoever our first pick turns out to be, he will contribute. My own opinion is that it seems to me that you should add Iupati and Pouncey to your list of people clearly special at their respective positions.
Your notion about Wilson's demeanor, though, really has me baffled. Wilson was well-liked and a locker-room leader at B.S.U. He was interviewed many, many times by the local t.v. stations during his career, and I can tell you that he is soft-spoken, but confident and never has come across as a selfish jerk. I never saw him make a mistake on the field that would ever make me think it was due to a selfish motive. McCourty may be a more physical player, and I am pretty sure I would be happy with the Texans taking either guy. I know guys get picked to pieces leading up to the draft, but there should be no concern at all about Wilson being a team player.
