RB Arian Foster Injury Status?

Has anyone heard anything further about his hamstring? I have heard conflicting reports on the severity of his injury.

Quote from Kubiak yesterday:

(on the injury situation at RB) "(RB Arian) Foster has a tweaked hamstring. They felt good about it, didn't think it was too bad. It could be a two- to four-day type of deal, so I think probably we're sitting here looking at Monday, and anything other than that would probably be a plus, but it's not bad. He'll be OK."

Where/what are you hearing otherwise?

fyi, the other udfa RB, Jeremiah Johnson, has been waived (but might be brought back to the IR...?).

Thought I heard this morning that they placed him on IR and he's having shoulder surgery. Could be mixed up though....I just got back in the country so I'm catching up on my Texans news.

Kubes said it was just a minor hammy pull. Likely out 2-4 days.

I would really like to see Foster come through for us because Slaton could get hurt this year (hopefully not), and Brown will be hurt at some point.

Yes, of course. I was thinking with my stomach (it was before breakfast). Thank you for the correction.

Hopefully this is just a minor setback for Foster. Im really hoping he can develop into a decent/good backup for Slaton. Im not exactly sold on Brown or Moats at this point.
