The newest Texan is...

Drumroll.... Ex-Bronco fullback Cecil Sapp.

This actually makes sense. We already have a bunch of safeties that are about the same. This move lets them use Taylor as a RB and takes him out of the FB roll. Could also be a help on ST and everyone knows that we need help there.

Is this something you just made up or is it real?

It's real.

Probably in reaction to Taylor's leg injury. Makes sense; Sapp can come in and fill Taylor's shoes immediately. Once CT's healthy I'm sure Sapp will be gone.

If Sapp is in shape I'll be surprised if he doesn't blow past Taylor on the depth chart. He's more explosive.

I don't know why we never see Darius Walker share carries with Slaton instead of it always being Taylor.

because taylor is a back with some size that can run. slaton and walker are basically the same type of runner. and i think taylor is one higher on kub's pecking order...

chris taylor is a mystery though. he's got decent size and speed, when he hits the hole seems to get a few yards but...it also seems like he goes down really easily. i guess i'm saying it seems like he should be able to make a name for himself here, but his performance is pretty forgettable.

Where is the Taylor that gained 99 yds rushing in the last game of the year a couple of years ago? Of course we weren't running the ZBS then.
