Texans to Mexico City Confirmed in 2016
 

Apparently the rumors have turned into fact.

And Texans will be playing Oakland Raiders in Mexico this next season.

Prime time, Monday night, Nov.21.

I'm OK with that game being scheduled there and then as long as we don't have to turn around and play on the road again the following Sunday.

Monday night roadie followed by a Sunday roadie would suck regardless of the locations, but from Houston, Mexico City is about a two hour plane ride. It's not distance-weary like the flight to London would be, or heck, even Seattle would be.

Glad the Mexico City trip is a road game for the Texans (Raiders will be the home team). That means there are still the full 8 games in Houston. The international exposure in Mexico is probably good for the league and great for the Texans.
