Rockets win the next Four

Typo , last word should be Four

I don't see how they lost first two, bound to get better.

Atlest know a few names for Rockets.

Fixed the thread title for you.

Had to wonder whether Aldridge could really put up another 40 a second time, thinking maybe it was a fluke. Nope. Time to rethink the defensive strategy.

They're back in it thanks to "Big Shot" Troy (Daniels).

I keep waiting for Harden to really heat up.... He's only shooting .329% for the series.... 8 for 30 from 3-point land...

Jeremy Lin makes me nervous....

NBA playoffs in general pretty interesting this year.

Lilliard for Portland made a tough shot for 3 to beat Rockets.

Too bad. Pretty good effort by Rockets.

And yet Morey's a genius. It drives me &$@?ing crazy and i don't even care about the Rockets.

Everything about that final play was hilarious from the (completely ineffective) timeout they took beforehand to the fact that they had a guy guarding the inbound passer to the fact that they didn't switch through the pick. It is a master class in gross incompetence. As we say where I live, que focop.

Anyway, I fear that Luhnow is the next Morey, someone widely worshipped but brings no results whatsoever.

Minor correction
Houston was in the playoffs during the 2008-2009 season in a second round series that was Yao Ming's last effort.

The NBA, with the horribly inconsistent referees, continuous timeouts, hack-a-whoever game plan (Howard being the latest), to me, is unbearable to watch. They've completely lost me.

The NHL playoffs is the thing to watch this time of year. Speed, agility, hitting, great games, numerous sudden-death OTs, barely noticeable referees... Yeah, buddy!! Next best thing to the NFL, IMO.

Everybody (the radio guys mainly) seems to point at Parsons for failing to stick close to Lillard.... IIRC, the Rockets had the ball with 7 seconds left, someone took the inbounds pass and then dribbled around for a few seconds (yes!) and then chunked the ball way down court throwing it out of bounds (no!) with .9 seconds left. Who was that guy?

All that person had to do was to dribble for a few seconds, hang onto the ball and wait to get fouled or throw the pass to anybody, Rocket or Blazer who would be way out of range. To me, that was more egregious than the Parsons error.....

At any rate, just wasn't in the cards this year.... IIRC, the big 3 in Miami didn't get it done their first year either so there's that...
