Astros 2013
 

Astros swept the Rockies this week, so they aren't last place team in majors anymore.

Jason Castro had a good week and was named AL Player of the week.

He batted .579 , three home runs, five RBI and five runs scored in six games which led the majors in batting average, slugging percentage (1.105) and on-base percentage (.636).

Then Astros got Nolan Ryan's son Reid Ryan as new GM.

And got Larry Dierker back consulting.

So, some positive news recently.

Hope the young guys start doing better as perhaps they should as gain experinece and teamwork.

It as the teams President, that is the guy who will fire the GM if and when the time comes to do so.

I saw "painekiller" listed below Astros and thought it was an appropriate fit for what is needed to watch them this season. I am having more fun monitoring the prospects this season than watching the Astros. Granted, I dodn't have comcast so it isn't easy catching them.

I think I'd rather watch the Hooks play this season than the Astros.
