Texans Preseason Schedule Released
 

The Governors Cup is back. Maybe it will work better than the Silver Boot.

Weekend of Aug 8-11:
Houston at Minnesota

Weekend of Aug 15-19:
Miami at Houston

Aug 25th
New Orleans at Houston (Fox 3 pm CDT)

Weekend of Aug 29-30:
Houston at Dallas

Dates and times of the three remaining games will be announced later.

Looks like some good practice games, will be good to see how 2013 Texans look.

The sad part is that the Governors Cup will be between our scrubs and their scrubs. Nobody of value is going to play the last week before the regular season. :mad:

Wonder if the Texans and the Saints will have joint practices in Houston this summer before their preseason game in Reliant ? They've done that sort of thing a couple of seasons in the past. It got pretty interesting during a few of those scrimmages between the 2 teams.

Kubiak said no pre-game practices with N.O. this year due to its the third game and don't want to take extra chances of anyone getting injured(my paraphrase interpretation). It was discussed but agreed mutually.

And yeah, it got pretty dicy at some of those in the past.
