Former Texans fullback Moran Norris and former Jacksonville and St. Louis receiver Mike Sims-Walker were among four free agents that are trying out for the team during the Texans’ three-day mini-camp this week. Defensive end Keith Browner Jr. and inside linebacker Prescott Burgess are also trying out this week.

Wonder what 4 guys are not here anymore.

I can see trying to add some experienced depth.

And apparently 30 team vets doing conditioning so let's all the newer guys get the practice

If I understand the radio show today, the new collective bargaining agreement allows a team to have an extended tryout with players during mini-camps. Thus they do not have to use any roster spots for these four guys just yet.

Sounds like our giant ZB rookie Olineman is having himself a real struggle with the waistline, and Kubiak is none to happy with his efforts so far, atleast that's the word coming out of OTAs/MC ?

Overall, Kubiak not handing out much praise this week. Trying to motivate guys to give more effort.

"Well he weighed in lighter so I don't know what he did last night. He can't play at the weight he was at yesterday, he can't help the team. I'm trying to teach him a lesson now before we get started."
