Patriots release cornerback Leigh Bodden, according to a league source.

NE's D is atrocious, but I'd take him @ Jackson, Allen, and McCain every day of the week. Likely will be claimed by someone, not sure if we get in the mix or not.

Cap room might be an issue - I'm thinking we are likely in the $2MM range, which is about what his balance is.

Good points on challenges in obtaining Bodden, but as discussed in another recent thread, the problem is still the ego invested in the Kareem Jackson pick.

Being cut from one of the NFLs worst secondaries doesn't seem to be much of a recommendation to me.

Forget him. Remember what happened when he was a free agent and we were interested in him?
