FA CB's according to the chronic

McMlain says these guys are the ones to watch, my comments in parenthesis:

Nnamdi Asomugha-Oakland (wants too much and is only interested in teams who will be after the "ring".)
Champ Bailey-Denver (over the hill? and wants too much)
Johnathon Joseph-Cincinnati (a possibility? has talent)
Stanford Routt-Oakland (local kid, went to UH, good skills, may be our best bet?)
Carlos Rogers-Washinton (NFC kid I don't know too much about. From the games I've seen, he may be a possible)
Ike Taylor- Pittsburgh (Probably will resign, but if not he would be an excellent prospect)
John Wilson-Baltimore (no comment)

If we sign a good vet FA CB, Quinn could likely be tried at FS.

This is the first time I have ever heard Rick Smith say we might be interested in trading up. (You bet, to at least #7 in the first round. If not Bud Adams and the Tacks will likely jerk Von Miller out from under us at #8.)

Scratch Bailey off the list....he re-signed with Denver today. 4yr deal, $43MM, with $15MM guarranteed...

Yep, that's the STARTING point for a 33 yr old corner.

WOWZERS!
