Is VY done as a Titan?

It appears VY is wearing out his welcome with the Jeff Fisher and the Titans fans. If Bud Adams allows Fisher to let VY go, most likely after being IRed for the rest of the season, would you want to bring VY in as the back up QB?

VY is not going to get a starting job right away IMO, unless Al Davis wants him, and he will have to earn his mettle with any new coaching staff.

If it plays out as I see it, Kubiak will keep his job, the defense will be under new leadership, much like the Buddy Ryan tenor with the Oilers, and VY could be under Kubiak's guidance. Imagine having Schaub, Lienart and VY all together here.

Not only no, but HELL no.

He ain't in Austin anymore.......can you imagine what kind of a train wreck he would be if he was allowed to be closer to his hometown bretheren?

WOW....

Thanks, but no thanks.

Vince Young was a legendary college football player and a total cancer as a pro. He is a pouting, complaining, quitting punk. No thank you.

And those are his good points. Just imagine the circus if he were to be backing up Matt. The TU nut jobs would be screaming every week for him to start.

Not for VY here at all.

VY needs a good, fair, but strong head coach, if he is going to succeed, maybe Andy Reid in Philly would have the right balance to deal with VY.

I think head coach Fisher is part of this problem as well. Everyone is different.

Who was Vic's mentor, VY needs someone like that to help him mature for sure.

Arizona or SanFran, anyone? Anywhere but here, please.

I'm a big VY fan but even I would want no part of him as a backup quarterback. He clearly doesn't handle it well when he's not starting and, it's true, all the UT fans would demand he start over Schaub and that's not fair or good for Schaub.

The only way VY works in Houston is if you have a coach willing to design an offense for him and let him run the show. Let him go back to the scrambling Vince that was so successful at Texas. Kubiak's not going to do that.

Last night, I was playing in my mind what could be done with an offense that featured Young and Tim Tebow as dual quarterbacks in like a double wildcat offense where either could take the snap, run or pass or hand off to the other with the potential for roll-outs to either side since one is lefthanded and the other righthanded. Stick a halfback in there for pitch plays and some straight handoffs and you'd have something that could be sensational if you could find the right OC to design plays and get both players to buy into it.

You could probably do the same thing with Vick or a handful or others but what makes it especially appealing with these two is they are big enough to run half the time and still get through a game.

Don't be surprised if you see Bud pull a 'Houston Oilers Bud' and Fisher's the one who get's the boot.

If you haven't done it already, check out the comments being left about that article. Their board is going to melt down at this rate. It looks like about half of 'em are pro-Fisher, half anti-, and half are pro-VY and half anti-. On top of that the Race Card is flying back-and-forth. Crazy!

I told a friend of mine Sunday night when this story broke to wait, the race card would be flying very soon. And here it is...

This whole sorry thing is why I didn't want us to take VY with the first pick of the draft back then. He is an unbeleivable athelete, but he is a spoiled little mamma's boy and still has not matured. I am definitely pro Jeff Fisher on this one.

.....Then we could pull a reverse on Bud and hire Fisher to beat the hell out of Bud's Bad Guys. ;)
