Caldwell and Winston were AWFUL vs NYG.
 

My partner, Barrett, has argued that Winston is overrated for years. I have generally disagreed with him. I thought Caldwell looked great this preseason and was surprised he didn't win the RG job outright over Brisiel. Well, anyone that finds themselves arguing that Caldwell and Winston aren't good O-line, here is all the evidence you will need to win the argument:

yikes, Winston, Caldwell, and Butler got really whipped bad by NYG on multiple plays each so no wonder we had no running or passing this past Sunday. pretty poor execution.

somehow these three OL guys need to be much more consistent, on the good side of making good blocks, for sure.

that film doesn't give much hope, but we know the OL have played better in past games. lots to learn and learn fast here.

After watching that video you would think that all the hard work that has been done for the last 4 plus years on rebuilding that Oline was for absolutely nothing. The Giants blew through double blocks, they did good jobs with swim moves, and last but not least Schaub was holding the ball way, way too long.

The whole team was awful.
