I'd love to have Rashad Jennings sitting for us in the 6th. Of course, that does not mean we will select him.

Don't we have to use one of these two remaining picks on our obligatory Practice Squad QB?

If that's JP Wilson or Graham Harrell then I might be ok with that.

Still on the board, but how about Ashlee Palmer at LB for the next pick since they seem to be targeting any position we are not talking about.

I don't imagine that we'll draft C.J. Spillman since we drafted Quin Glover. Maybe Lydon Murtha, but we did draft a blocking TE. Could we draft a DT? It has to be a RB, right?

I don't know who is on positive drug test list, but Jennings and Peerman certainly seem like candidates because of the way they are slipping. Both were projected as 4th rounders.

The 49ers drafted Bear Pascoe, so there's one less TE available. ;)

Well, 3 picks left until we're on the clock, and Jenning AND Peerman are both still available. And hey, 6th round is about when the Broncos used to start looking for RBs.

ETA: Of course, there goes Peerman.

What about Ogbanayya (sp)?

Jennings is still on the board. The only question is whether we grab him.

I guess once Greene and Coffee went off the board they panicked. I don't get exactly when they're doing, but I guess they know best.

Maybe they got a higher opinion of Moats than we do? Puzzling to say the least...

sounds like a fast CB, like 4.33 40. 3 year starter. not a RB or Safety type. hmm.

2008 Season
First team all-MWC pick started all 13 games at cornerback … 35 tackles, five pass breakups and an interception … season-high six tackles with a pass breakup vs. BYU … four tackles against Michigan and Oregon State … a sack and a pass breakup vs. New Mexico … one kick return for 23 yards against Michigan.



I suppose we have some Mountain West Conference DB scouts. Could we be looking for another KR to make Jacoby Jones expendable? 4.33 is nothing to sneeze at.

I think Coye Francies, a CB who stood out at the Senior Bowl and went three picks later to the Browns, will be a better player, but I can see a team not taking a risk on someone who was arrested on firearms charges.

Why would you say they panicked? If the whole draft was predicated on those two not being there and they were gone... well, that is just silly.

The Browns just got a guy, who I thought if he had came out last year would have been a 1st rounder, here in the 6th round. I wonder if James Davis would have been better off coming out last year. On the other hand, he may have been another one of those guys that draftniks love, only to meet cold reality on draft day. If Davis learns to block, he should help the offense, because he can run the ball.

Maybe they just have a really low opinion of Rashad Jennings. Maybe he's a slacker. :o

Cowboys got Hamlin and Stephen Hodge? Somebody's going to get hurt in Special Teams.

With all the CB's and TE's now on roster, how about OD and DRob to Carolina for James Stewart and a '10 pick? Just kidding...

The Patriots take Pryor and ensure that I'm not drafting a DT in the 7th round.

Well, the TE I would have drafted is now gone. Perhaps the Texans were right in drafting Hill. The Cowboys take Phillips to go with Witten.

Would we draft John Parker Wilson, while we have Alex Brink and Dan Orlovsky?
