Official Texans vs. Colts Thread, 10/05/2008

Looks like the gametime temps will be in the upper 70s, maybe some scattered clouds. Hopefully that will keep the fans in the north endzone in their seats.

Probably no Will Demps to go with no C.C. Brown in the deep steel blue secondary. As if our secondary needed to give any extra strokes to Peyton Manning out there on the green today... I think Nick Ferguson and Brandon Harrison will be the starters. God bless us, every one.

TheMatrix31 10-05-2008 11:39 AM

Line for Sage -- 21/34, 273 yards, 3 TDs, 2 INTs.

painekiller 10-05-2008 11:50 AM

why is okam inactive?

TheMatrix31 10-05-2008 12:06 PM

That stop was made possible by Mario and DeMeco, our two studs.

Arky 10-05-2008 12:09 PM

Indy receives opening kickoff - drive stalls at the Texan 41

... but Colts go for it on 4th down.....

Addai picks up the first down...

Arky 10-05-2008 12:12 PM

Nice stop by Diles & Faggins on 3rd down, Colts kick 46 yd FG

Colts 3, Texans 0

popanot 10-05-2008 12:25 PM

I am soooo sick of this "defense". These guys SUCK!!!!

TheMatrix31 10-05-2008 12:26 PM

Dunta Robinson, where ARE you?!

Arky 10-05-2008 12:26 PM

Reeves had all day to turn around - just couldn't do it....

popanot 10-05-2008 12:28 PM

F'ing sad! Blowout here we come!

Arky 10-05-2008 12:29 PM

Colts run it in 1 yd for the TD.

Colts 10, Texan 0

Did anyone else know they were going to pass on the 4th down conversion?

Arky 10-05-2008 12:39 PM

Who's this #30?

Texans at the 1 yd line - 1st down....

Rosenfels was over! But Slaton takes it in on 2nd down...

Colts 10, Texans 7

popanot 10-05-2008 12:40 PM

Yea!!! TD! Offense bails out our sh!tty D'!

painekiller 10-05-2008 12:43 PM

Green looked really good on that drive.

Big Texas 10-05-2008 12:43 PM

Now thats how you take advantage of an opportunity.

Good job Sage.

9 plays for 71 yds

Arky 10-05-2008 12:48 PM

Sack by Mario - Amobi helps....

Heh, heh Reeves almost did it again - Gonzales drops the ball - Colts punt....

Let's go Offense!

At least the D is putting some QB pressure today - Manning is getting the happy feet...

Arky 10-05-2008 12:54 PM

Big play to AJ sets the Texans up deep in Colt territory.

Ahman falls down on 3rd down so the Texans settle for the FG:

Texans 10, Colts 10

Arky 10-05-2008 01:02 PM

Well, what do you know, Joe? Reeves turns around and deflects a pass....

Colts FG is no good.

Score remains:

Texans 10, Colts 10

Texans takeover at their own 39.

Big Texas 10-05-2008 01:04 PM

Arky 10-05-2008 01:14 PM

Texans drive down the field - Sage hits AJ for 5 yds - TD!

Is Indy just this sorry or are we finally utilizing our talent?

We will see if we continue to stick it to'em in the second half or will we come out with that lets run the ball into 8 men fronts like we did the first couple plays of the game.

P.S.
did anyone notice how 610 said that Shaub was out with flu like symptoms while 11 said that it was an intestinal somethin or other?

could he have been just outplayed in practice?
or did someone just get their info wrong?

Arky 10-05-2008 01:33 PM

I think you can have intestinal flu..... feel crappy, can't get off the john....

The symptoms for intestinal virus is the same as the stomach flu.

TheMatrix31 10-05-2008 01:40 PM

Owen with an obligatory drop. Damn.

I was hoping to get points to open the half..

Arky 10-05-2008 01:41 PM

Texans take 2nd half kickoff - drive stalls in Indy territory.

That would have been nice! No lead is safe with the Colts offense.....

painekiller 10-05-2008 01:49 PM

Solid defensive stand

Nconroe 10-05-2008 01:54 PM

Running game getting going now, we need a few more points to feel safe though

TheMatrix31 10-05-2008 02:02 PM

Oh shit. Andre down.

EDIT: Got off on his own power. Please let there be nothing wrong with him.

Arky 10-05-2008 02:05 PM

Texans drive stalls at the 26. Brown's FG is good.

Texans 20, Colts 10

Burnt up a lot of clock that drive.....

TheMatrix31 10-05-2008 02:13 PM

Mario SACK on a third down, forcing the Colts to punt.

Let's go, long drive that results in points!

Arky 10-05-2008 02:13 PM

Mario!

Colts punt - Texans take over at their own 20.

TheMatrix31 10-05-2008 02:18 PM

50 yard run by Slaton followed by like, a 20 yard rollout to Walter.

Get some points!
