One mo' time, defense.....

---------------------------------------

Pass to Green gets 16.

Green-Ellis for 4. 2nd and 6 coming up.

Dalton caught by Reed for no gain... 3rd and 6 coming up.

Timeout Bengals with 4:17 left.

Big Texas 01-05-2013 06:24 PM

AJ Green scares me

Nconroe 01-05-2013 06:26 PM

yeah, Keo hit him first for the PI. dang it. getting tight now. come on defense.

Big Texas 01-05-2013 06:26 PM

What the **************** is Keo doing in the game?

Arky 01-05-2013 06:28 PM

On 3rd and 6, flags presnap.... false start Bengal -5. Makes it 3rd and 11....

Oy, Penalty on Keo for PI gives the Bengals a 1st down at midfield.

Pass to Jones gets 15.

Green-Ellis TFL'ed for loss of 1. 2nd and 11 coming up. Nearing 3 minutes left in the game.

Pass to Gresham over the middle broken up by GQ. 3rd and 11 coming up.

Wow, Dalton's pass too long, inc in the endzone.... Green had a step. Brings up 4th and 11... Bengals going for it....

Pass to Jones gets about 8..... Texans takeover on downs....2:44 left in the game...

Nconroe 01-05-2013 06:29 PM

Whew, held on fourth down, with about 2:40 to go. one first down its over for sure. no bad plays please,

nice catch by Graham, plus 15 yd. head butt

Big Texas 01-05-2013 06:30 PM

OMG..................

Arky 01-05-2013 06:30 PM

Foster for 4. Bengals timeout with 2:39 left.

Foster for about 4 more. Bengals timeout with 2:33 left. 3rd and 2 coming up.

Pass to Graham gets about 7 and a 1st down! Flag down.... Roughing on Bengals +15! Ball at the Bengals 42.

Foster for 2.

2 minute warning.

Arky 01-05-2013 06:36 PM

On 2nd and 8, Foster gets 10.

Texans can start kneeling it out.

Final Score:

Texans 19, Bengals 13

Wooohoooo! ;)

Nconroe 01-05-2013 06:36 PM

other that the one INT, Schaub has done pretty good today seems to me, so far. okay,

another first down run by Foster.

feels good now. kneeling it out.

yeeha, on to NE Pats next week.

Ok, right now I think we can take the Pats if we clean up the penalties and dumb INTs.

BigBull 01-05-2013 06:37 PM

well they better be able to score tds when they play the pats because fgs will no get it done.

HPF Bob 01-05-2013 06:39 PM

I have no expectation of them winning next week.

Best approach to go with IMO

TheMatrix31 01-05-2013 06:55 PM

We played it conservatively and it worked today. They knew the defense would dominate and Dalton wouldn't do much. Won't work against a Brady so as long as we play a bit more aggressively on offense and don't dig ourselves a hole again with stupidity, we can win that game.

nunusguy 01-05-2013 07:06 PM

Xcept for one play, really good game for Schaub. I'm thrilled that my Texans won, they've seemed to have lost their way in the last 4-6 weeks but this might be some redemption for them ?
Next week vs the Pats ? Sure, it's a really long-shot, but I'm thinking the Texans will be into the challenge, I'm thinking they will be fired up ?

Nconroe 01-05-2013 07:18 PM

Our OL protecting Schaub really well today, no sacks today, against league leading sack team with 51, was one of keys to game. nice to see our OL come together at the right time. hope it continues.

I recorded this game and I will watch my recording because I want to see most of all what was going on the with the Oline, who played well and who didn't ? I know that Ben Jones started at RG, but also Brandon Broods took quite a few snaps there. And yea, that was a big penalty against him in the RZ, but in general wonder how he performed ? Oh yea, didn't Newt go all the way at RT ?

painekiller 01-05-2013 07:34 PM

I'm happy the Texans won!!! But this conservative play calling will only get us beat in New England.

I actually think that conservative play calling is fine if the Texans control the LOS and finish in the red zone. I don't think it will be absolutely impossible to win next week. Very, very difficult but not impossible at all.
