Big Texas 12-02-2010 10:19 PM

I get tired of the way that Kubiak's playcalling makes AJohnson look ineffective. They need to get this guy the ball...What happen to the quick screens...

Big Texas 12-02-2010 10:21 PM

Screeeeeeeeeeennnnnnn!!!!!!!!!

Arky 12-02-2010 10:22 PM

Timeout Texans. 3:24 left in the game.

On 4th and 5, pass to KW is broken up. Eagles ball.

Big Texas 12-02-2010 10:24 PM

Did we not all expect the blitz?

Why did we put the whole game in the hands of Kevin Walter on a back shoulder fade?

A play that we hardly ever call...

Arky 12-02-2010 10:26 PM

McCoy TFL -6. 2nd and 16 coming up.

McCoy for 4. Texans use their last timeout. 3:09 left in the game. 3rd and 11 coming up.

Vick's pass goes inc. but flag on the play. 2 on the offense, both declined. Eagles to punt.

JJ fair catches at the 11. 2:57 left in the game.

Arky 12-02-2010 10:27 PM

Pass to AJ goes to midfield. 40 yards.

Schaub sacked/stripped. Eagles recover. :(

Vick trips -3. 2nd and 13.

2 minute warning.

Big Texas 12-02-2010 10:29 PM

Wow!!!! Two back to back dumb ass decisions by QB and coach...Like father and son...

Arky 12-02-2010 10:33 PM

On 2nd and 13, McCoy goes for 4.

McCoy gets 1 so Eagles will have to punt. Less than a minute left in the game.

Timeout Eagles with 32 seconds left.

chuck 12-02-2010 10:33 PM

The Texans are wasting the best WR and the best RB in the NFL. That makes me sick.

Arky 12-02-2010 10:36 PM

JJ tackled at the 11 on the punt.

Pass to AJ goes for 10.

Pass to JJ goes for 12. Game over.

Final Score:

Eagles 34, Texans 24

Hello 5-7, old friend....

Shame, we coulda beat these guys...

barrett 12-02-2010 10:37 PM

I wouldn't have thought it was possible for all of last year's offense to return and basically be healthy, then you add a RB and become one of the best short yardage teams in the NFL, and you are 5-7.

A true testament to finding ways to lose, terrible defense, and organizational mismanagement.

coloradodude 12-02-2010 10:38 PM

Well, it's 2010 and we're in last place in our division once again.

The only improvement we've clearly made since Dom Capers is sack reduction and we actually have a running game.

Next coach and staff please. Okay, just a new D coordinator

Another losing season for a loser franchise. The Texans are in the same company as the Lions and the Bills and the Browns. They are a shit franchise with shit leadership and that includes shit ownership. I can't see anything that that complacent blowhard McNair could possibly do to retain my loyalty to the team.

You add a RB that you had all last year but refused to play. The management of this team is unreal. It is incredible that this is considered a professional team.

Fonz the Boss 12-02-2010 10:41 PM

I knew we werent going to the playoffs so Im not really that disappointed. I liked our effort on the road against a very good team though. We will be playing for pride in these remaining games so hopefully they give us something to look forward to. Bush will be gone for sure after the season. It really sucks to have the leading rusher in the league, the best WR in the league and a Pro Bowl QB but yet our defense is what's keeping us out of the dance. I hope this is finally a reason enough to not keep hiring in house coaches for defensive coordinators. This offseason Kubiak and Smith have to go look for the big names.

Gobs and gobs of teams with a superior offense but a terrible defense routinely end their seasons with losing records. Nothing at all unusual about that result with that combination.
Kudos to the Eagles for covering the spread, but they just barely did so. The Texans actually did better than I thought they would, but then most of us have known their season has been over for some time now so the expectations are modest at this point.

Then stop rooting for them and stop posting. Find someone else to follow.

......makes me ****************ing sick that we're just a few plays from leading the division or making the playoffs YET AGAIN. If we're gonna suck, let's SUCK. Enough of this Mickey Mouse stuff man.

The offense does have major issues. It's had issues since Owen Daniels went down last year.

Buy a ticket, asshole. You have no financial commitment to the team. I have been a season ticket holder since day one and you have never spent a dollar on the team so blow me.

How the hell do you know what I have or haven't committed financially to the team? If I actually LIVED in Houston, I'd be a season ticket holder too.

Maybe you shouldn't renew your tickets for next year.

Besides, it's not like having season tickets makes you more of a fan. What kind of bullshit is that.

chuck 12-02-2010 11:56 PM

I don't live in Houston, dude. I don't even live in the United States. I maintain an apartment in Houston both to have a place to stay when I come in for various holidays and when I come in for football games. So not only do I spend money on this shit franchise (and following your advice I will almost certainly not renew next year) I spend tens of thousands of dollars every year just freaking getting here to watch this team get smoked by shit teams from all over the league. So, yeah, I have more skin in the game than the average dumbass who just watches the games on TV.

In sum, I am plainly a far greater dumbass than the average.
