It will be awhile before we pick in the second so don't feel secure that Gerhard is going to be around either.

I don't disagree with taking a corner in the first round. That was an important get- and with Berry and Thomas gone, safety falls down to a fourth or fifth round priority. So let's get a lineman or a RB next. I might prefer a lineman if no stud RBs are left in the second.

We need to go DB on the second round as well. I think the Jets just proved to everyone that if you are playing on a conference against Peyton Manning and Tom Brady you need to have a solid secondary for those nickel packages. The Jets already had Cromartie and Revis yet they still went ahead and picked Kyle Wilson with their pick. That lets you know that they are drafting for those playoff matchups against the Patriots and Colts.
