Big Texas 10-25-2009 01:51 PM

Wow. This is what happens when you start letting up. Two relief defensive lineman jumpin early. Did we think they would give up.

Now lets move down the field and score 7

Nconroe 10-25-2009 01:51 PM

seems Alex Smith at QB has a snap count that got our DL three times. Come on defense.

Big Texas 10-25-2009 01:52 PM

this is not the time to make ASmith look like Joe Montana

Roy P 10-25-2009 01:53 PM

A new QB cadence got us. I don't think we "let up" because we had a lead. Bringing in Alex Smith means that Singletary realized he had to start throwing the ball. It's not like we've been great against the pass.

Arky 10-25-2009 01:55 PM

AD brings the kickoff back to about the 18.

Pass to KW good for about 6.

Slaton for about 8 and the 1st down.

Dump to Slaton for no gain. 2nd and 10.

Schaub pressured and chunks it out of bounds. 3rd and 10 coming up.

Pass to DA good for 8 but short of the 1st down so Texans to punt.

Niners fair catch at their 11.

Roy P 10-25-2009 01:56 PM

Hmm...now that we have a lead, it looks like there are some running lanes starting to open up.

Nconroe 10-25-2009 01:59 PM

time for an INT please

Big Texas 10-25-2009 02:00 PM

This is getting crazy now. Defense we need a turnover, to take the life out.

Arky 10-25-2009 02:01 PM

Gore for 3. 2nd and 7.

Gore for 1. 3rd and 6.

Delay of game on Niners. 3rd and 11.

Short pass to V Davis comes up short so Niners to punt.

JJ brings the punt back to the Texan 42 but flag on the play. Holding on Niners is declined. Texans ball at the 42.

Roy P 10-25-2009 02:07 PM

Another 3 TE set that produces good results. This time a run outside.

Arky 10-25-2009 02:07 PM

Schaub tucks and runs for about 2. 2nd and 8.

Slaton runs to near a 1st down.... about a foot short. 3rd and 1 coming up.

Schaub sneaks and gets the 1st down with 2nd effort. Ball at the Niner 36.

Slaton for 4 tough yards. Refs signal fumble at the end of the play. Niners ball. :(

Roy P 10-25-2009 02:08 PM

Slaton out wide for the QB sneak.

TheMatrix31 10-25-2009 02:10 PM

Effin A with the fumbles, Steve!

Arky 10-25-2009 02:16 PM

Niners takeover at the Texan 34.

Smith scrambles for 11 and a 1st down.

Gore for about 7. 2nd and 3. Ball ath the Texan 48.

Gore for 4 - 1st down.

22 yd Pass to Crabtree negated by illegal motion on Niners. 1st and 15 @ the Texan 49.

Pass to V Davis gets about 8. Bulman down.

Bulman walks off.

Short pass for about 2.

End of 3rd quarter.

Roy P 10-25-2009 02:16 PM

Lucky break for our Secondary that Morgan was moving forward for a flag negating Crabtree's reception. Alex Smith to Vernon Davis. Cushing with the tackle. Bulman's down with an injury.

Big Texas 10-25-2009 02:19 PM

It is about time that we show that we can play a full game of football. Why can't we just close a game out.

Arky 10-25-2009 02:20 PM

On 3rd and 6, pass to Crabtree picks up 6 and a 1st down.

Gore for about 2 or 3. Ball at the Texan 31.

A Smith bats down the pass. 3rd and 6 coming up.

Timeout Niners.

Roy P 10-25-2009 02:22 PM

Alex Smith makes the 49ers a passing team. Funny how he's looking so much better than Shaun Hill.

Nconroe 10-25-2009 02:24 PM

Crabtree seems to be doing pretty good as well, sorry to say.

Big Texas 10-25-2009 02:24 PM

This game is looking strikingly similar to our game against the cardinals. Except we are the Cardinals now. So that must mean its time for pick 6. Lol

TheMatrix31 10-25-2009 02:26 PM

Good job, a-holes.

Roy P 10-25-2009 02:26 PM

There's that man again.

HPF Bob 10-25-2009 02:26 PM

This looks like the Cardinals game except in reverse.

Arky 10-25-2009 02:26 PM

On 3rd and 6, pass to Morgan goes to the Texan 14 and picks up the 1st down.

Smith hits V Davis for the TD.

Texans 21, Niners 14

Big Texas 10-25-2009 02:26 PM

We refuse to close this game out. This is sad. Wow.

Let's hope it turns out the same way...

Roy P 10-25-2009 02:27 PM

The Offense is going to have to get another score and turn this thing into a shoot-out for the rest of the game. We simply can't stop the pass.

Roy P 10-25-2009 02:29 PM

That's what I'm talking about. Big hitter to AJ. :D

Arky 10-25-2009 02:30 PM

AD brings the kickoff back to the 15.

Schaub hits AJ on a deep route for 44!

Dump to Brown gets about 4.

2nd down pass goes inc. 3rd and 6 coming up.

AJ down. 11:05 left in the game.

Arky 10-25-2009 02:34 PM

AJ seems to be OK...on the sidelines now. (report: wind knocked out)

Pass to OD picks up 7 and the 1st down.

C Brown for about 4.

Schaub hits OD who lumbers to the Niner 11. 1st down.

TheMatrix31 10-25-2009 02:34 PM

Did they pull Slaton?

Roy P 10-25-2009 02:36 PM

There's another 3-TE set. Gain of 3 yards.
One more time and OD for a nice gain.

Have I mentioned that I love the 3-TE set to get mismatches? :D

Arky 10-25-2009 02:37 PM

C Brown for no gain. About 8 1/2 minutes left in the game.

Schaub sacked back at the 20. Brings up 3rd and 19.

Slaton for about 3. Flag on the play. Players getting chippy... Roughness on Duane Brown - a 15 yarder.

K Brown on for the FG.

50 yarder is good.

Texans 24, Niners 14

Just over 7 minutes left in the game.

TheMatrix31 10-25-2009 02:38 PM

Good job, Duane Brown. F'n A.

HPF Bob 10-25-2009 02:39 PM

We went from almost first-and-goal to a 50-yd FG attempt but Kris Brown converts three HUGE points.

Roy P 10-25-2009 02:40 PM

Gotta have at least a FG now after that penalty.

Roy P 10-25-2009 02:40 PM

Yeah! Kris Brown nailed it. Two posession game.

HPF Bob 10-25-2009 02:41 PM

No, I think Chris Brown is their ball-control milk-the-clock back.

Big Texas 10-25-2009 02:41 PM

Come on now if we are gonna just let the clock, at least throw a quick screen to try and make a big play. Why just run it without even a chance.

Anyway good FG KBrown
