Schaub was looking really sharp last night until that pass that resulted in the pic by one of the no less than 4 Jags defenders who closely bracketing his target. Yup, deja vu all over again. How many times has that happened this season alone ? Rogers or Brady could maybe fit that ball in, but would they even attempt that pass ?

I think the most disappointing thing for me this year is no one is willing to take a stand or hold someone accountable. McNair continues to hide in his shell and allow Kubiak to coach... Kubiak continues to allow Marciano and other staff members to coach... Kubiak continues to make the same game mistakes over and over and over again... The coaching staff continues to allow awful (OL, OLBs, anyone on STs, JJoe, Schaub) and/or dumbass players (Swearinger) play... Dumbass players continue to make mistakes and some continue to talk and act like jerks despite the fact they suck...

It's truly stunning how everyone at the upper levels of this organization has just allowed this crap to continue. Fine... Fire a coach, bench or pull a player, lose games... Have some balls and DO SOMETHING to make a statement!

I hear ya, but what does it really accomplishment? I'd put 99% odds that the staff will be blown up. Whether that includes the GM or not is TBD, but I don't think he's as safe as some believe. Whether it happens now, or Black Monday, that's irrelvant to me.

If anything, keeping these yahoo's around helps secure a top 5 pick.......

Well, most of what I said should have happened weeks ago. But my main point is, regardless of the timing or if it changes anything this year, SOMEONE, please, just make a statement and show us that this is unacceptable and that there's a pulse and brain activity within the organization.

There's no point to firing people this late in the season. McNair is doing the right thing for now. Changes will come this winter when more coaches are available to hire.

14 penalties tells me the coaches have lost the players. Kubiak and probably Wade Phillips are no longer being listened to and that's a sign that everyone already knows the inevitable is coming.

It's all the more disappointing when you remember what we thought when the season started. I felt there would be some regression but nothing like this. I though 9-7, 10-6, win the division and then get bounced in the playoffs. Not this. I think that's why the fan base is so angry and impatient.

To try and make lemonade out of lemons, I don't think Kubiak ever was or ever is going to be more than a mediocre coach and what he accomplished the last 2 years is probably his ceiling. However, McNair would never fire him if he kept churning out 9-7 seasons. So, this year is hopefully the medicine we have to take to get a coach who can potentially take the team further. We'll see.

I disagree Bob. We outgained them and could have won in the end. I think we are just snake bitten.

+1

I've got a post during the SF debacle where I said I was rooting against us and hoping we went 2-14 so even McNair couldn't keep Kubiak. Never thought it could actually happen but WE DID IT!

Yep, McNair did the right thing and FINALLY made a statement. I doubt the Kubiak firing will change anything on the field, but it says enough is enough. Exactly what I was looking for. Next is benching DSwag's ass during a game when he's mouthing off and acting the fool on the field.
