Titans punt goes out of bounds after 44 yards. Flag on the play. Unsportsmanlike on the Titans (Campbell). Puts the ball at the Texan 48.

Tate runs it all the way to the Titan 12. 15 yard gain.

INT'ed by McCain! Pick 6!

Texans 41, Titans 7

9:28 left in the game.

Dang, pretty spiffy moves on the return by McCain....

Big Texas 10-23-2011 02:31 PM

This is going to sound very pessimistic, but I don't care...

This game is one of the reasons why the Texans piss me off so much...

They are putting up an ol' fashion beat down...

This game represents their true potential...

They are just SOOOO wishy washy...

I wish they would play like this every time...

Arky 10-23-2011 02:35 PM

Mariani brings the kickoff back to the Titan 15. Nice tackle by Braman.

Locker in.

Locker is sacked by Reed! -10.

Ringer gets 5. Makes it 3rd and 15.

Pass to Hawkins gets 12. Makes it 4th and 3. Titans to punt.

False start on Titans backs it up 5.

Punt is fair caught by Holliday at the Texan 39. 8:03 left in the game.

Arky 10-23-2011 02:43 PM

Tate for maybe 1. 2nd and 9 coming up.

Ward for 3. 3rd and 4 coming up.

2 minute warning.

HPF Bob 10-23-2011 02:43 PM

I think it's been answered which team was the contender and which one was the pretender. The Titties caught the Ravens in a trap game and, otherwise, haven't distinguished themselves.

chuck 10-23-2011 02:48 PM

I wanted to beat these mofos 62-0 but I suppose this victory speaks loudly enough.

Arky 10-23-2011 02:48 PM

Ball at the Titan 31.

Ward TFL -3. Makes it 4th and 7 coming up.

Ward for about 2. Titans takeover on downs. Ball at their 33.

-------------------

Ringer for about 2. 2nd and 8 coming up.

Ringer for about 2 more.

Time runs out.

Final score:

Texans 41, Titans 7

I think everyone needed this one.... :)

WMH 10-23-2011 02:49 PM

Very impressed with the total dominance today. Very impressed.

nunusguy 10-23-2011 03:14 PM

What a game ! And is the most "complete" game we've played to date ? Can't think of one to top it ?
I did not think we'd do well today, so to say I was pleasantly surprised that we had this kind of performance is for sure a gigantic understatement.
There really is little doubt now who's got the most talent in the division this year, so the job is for Kubiak and his coachs to manage it effectively and not blow the division title and our playoff opportunity.

WMH 10-23-2011 03:15 PM

Saw a Kubiak quote from Texans twitter - Something to the effect of they "think" Manning will be able to play again this year.....

That's a bit of a damper.

Seeing early reports of a factured tibia. Absolute best case - 4 weeks. Absolute worse case 10 weeks....

Bummer.....

Nconroe 10-23-2011 06:06 PM

Great game by the Texans, this put Texans in first place in the AFC South.

All three phases of the team played well.

The defense did an excellent job holding Chris Johnson to 18 yards on 10 carries plus a fumble and a total offense of 148 yards.

Cushing played at All-Pro level. Two rookies Watt and Reed each had a sack. Manning and McCain each had interceptions.

Offense had 518 total yards, most by Texans in a non overtime game. Arian had total of 234 yards offense, 115 rushing and 119 receiving. Tate added 104 yds rushing, just fantastic.

Excellent beating Titans in a rivalry game, 41-7, even better than margin I had predicted.

With that prediction I frankly thought you were crazier than a shithouse rat.

Nconroe 10-23-2011 07:14 PM

Thnx, staying away from the dumb interceptions and stupid penalties negating big plays made a lot of difference in the results.

I suppose we need to give Kubiak and coaches credit for changing the offense and Schaub for executing consistently. And OL did well again, nice to see that.

Just proves you can be stupid and crazy and still be right some times. Winning makes everyone feel better. Hopefully this is the step we needed to finally make playoffs.

TheMatrix31 10-23-2011 08:44 PM

I knew we would beat some ass.

Losing Danieal Manning is killer though....ugh. Damn injuries.

I think the training staff should probably be replaced no matter what happens.

Nconroe 10-23-2011 09:50 PM

I don't think injuries are training staff's fault, all football teams have injuries.

You can tell we miss Mario on defense.

Manning hopefully will be back in 4-6 weeks, for sure by playoffs.

AJ and Casey should be back pretty soon as well.

I take it that's a sarcastic comment ?
